SO many to choose from!
There are tasting rooms in all the towns where you might be staying (Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, Windsor, Healdsburg). If you are interested in venturing outside of downtown, there are many beautiful vineyards all over, many of which have tasting rooms as well. We recommend heading out of Healdsburg to Dry Creek Road for a beautiful drive and many wineries to choose from.
You'd be hard put not to find wineries just driving around wine country in general, but let us know if you want recommendations for wineries in a particular area.
For Peanuts fans, the Charles Shulz museum in Santa Rosa
Armstrong Redwood State Natural Reserve. About 30-40 mins from Santa Rosa/Healdsburg. *Motion sickness alert: winding road to get there. For anyone who has not been amongst these giant trees, it's worth the drive. Pictures do not do them justice.
From Armstrong, continue on to the coast. Goat Rock beach is another 30 mins west. The pacific coast is truly wild and spectacular. Be sure to check the weather before heading out, it can often be drastically different from inland. Much lower temps and fog are common.
